Forrest Bathing at Kenzell Farm
Slow down. Breathe deep. Reconnect with nature.
What is Forest Bathing?
Forest Bathing, or Shinrin-yoku, is the Japanese practice of immersing yourself in the natural world through your senses. Developed in Japan in the 1980s as a wellness practice to reduce stress and enhance wellbeing, it's now embraced globally as a calming, restorative experience — and it’s available right here at Kenzell Farm.
Unplug from the world. Reconnect with the wild.
Why Forest Bathe with Us?
Nestled on the western edge of the Blue Mountains in regional NSW, Kenzell Farm offers a private, peaceful forest setting with winding creeks, dappled light, and birdsong in every season. Our guided two-hour Forest Bathing sessions invite you to slow down and gently explore with all your senses — no hiking experience or special equipment required.
You’ll be guided through a series of sensory invitations designed to help you connect with your surroundings:
🌀 Listening to the wind through the trees
🖐 Noticing textures beneath your fingertips
👃 Breathing in the earthy scent of leaf litter
☕ Finishing with a warm cup of herbal tea under the canopy
