At Kenzell Farm, our Camp Oven Cook-Up is more than just dinner — it’s an immersive taste of bush hospitality, where the smells of woodsmoke, roasting vegetables, and slow-cooked meats drift across the paddock as stories are shared and bellies are filled.

Whether you're a first-time visitor, a returning guest, or just hungry for something different, this evening experience is about slowing down, savouring the moment, and connecting — with nature, with others, and with the land.

We keep the vibe rustic, warm, and welcoming — like dinner at a mate’s place, just with more alpacas nearby.

🌿 Terrain & Accessibility

The cook-up takes place outdoors beside our dedicated fire circle, surrounded by natural grass and gravel paths. The area is fairly flat and suitable for most mobility levels, though we recommend sturdy, closed-toe shoes and contacting us in advance if you require accessibility support.

Seating is casual — a mix of picnic rugs, stools, and rustic benches — but we can provide chair options for comfort if requested.

🌦️ Weather & What to Bring

Our elevation means cooler nights, even in summer, so please come prepared!

What to bring:

  • Warm layers or a blanket — evenings can get chilly

  • Closed-toe shoes — essential near fires and paddocks

  • Your favourite non-glass drink bottle or thermos

  • BYO marshmallows welcome!

We proceed in most weather with undercover options nearby. If weather conditions are unsafe (e.g. high winds, total fire ban), we’ll reschedule or offer an alternative.
