RedGround Truffles (15 min)

For something truly unique, head to RedGround Truffles, a working truffle farm just outside Oberon. Join a truffle hunt and tasting experience with expert guides and highly trained dogs, then warm up with truffle tastings in their boutique truffle lodge. RedGround is known for offering hunts for multiple culinary truffle varieties and farm-stay style accommodation.

Best time to visit:
Winter (June–August) for peak truffle season. Bookings are essential.

Renzaglia Wines – O’Connell (around 40–45 min)

Wine lovers can venture to Renzaglia Wines, a family-owned boutique winery tucked into the hills at O’Connell. Their cellar door at 38 Bosworth Falls Road offers tastings of small-batch, cool-climate wines that focus on expressing the local terroir. Cellar door visits are generally by appointment or on selected open days, so it’s worth checking dates and booking ahead.
